我が国では奈良時代から続く儀式が少なくありません。

年間を通じ、神道や仏教、それに皇室に関わる儀式の種類と数は、数えきれないものとなります。

現代に至り、これらの儀礼・儀式を国民レベルで行うものに茶の湯があります。

茶の湯は不思議な日本文化の現象で、この実態や文化形態に説明をつけるのが難しいとされています。「茶道」と「茶の湯」の違いの説明がつかないのもその表れのひとつです。

茶の湯には茶室という建築がついてまわります。

ついてまわるというより、一体のものといっても過言になりません。

茶室という施設があって茶の湯の実践が達成されるからです。

縄文期の竪穴住居から始まり、奈良時代の社寺建築、貴族の寝殿造り、武家の書院造、そして茶の湯の建築の数寄屋造り、城や民家を含めたこれら木造建築は世界にその類を見ません。

そのなかで異彩を放つのが茶室建築です。

茶室は木造建築のエッセンス。

その建築の中には「美（うま）し日本の記憶」が潜んでいます。

このほど、その記憶をかたちにしようと志し、集まりをつくりました。

「樵隠会」という同士の集まりで、Ｓのプロジェクトとして発足しました。

私は、このかたちをこれから造って行こうと思っています。

「樵隠会」

太田です。

本日、9名のメンバーが集い「樵隠会（しょういんかい）」が発足しました。

樵隠会の事業目的は、「茶の湯の殿堂」の造営です。

　　将来は国の宝となるような。

　　富士山の名水の湧くところ。

 　 造営は「茶の湯のステージ」です。

　　もちろん、本格的な木造建築で。

　 美(　　　うま)し日本を後の世に伝えます。

造営事業の中核となるメンバーは各ジャンルのエキスパートです。

造営地担当、食部門、工事、造園、祭事、広報、次代の建築家、事務局などから構成されました。

代表は私がつとめます。

造営地候補は静岡県東部の予定です。

これから地域の皆様の協力を得ながら、事業展開をしてまいります。

「天の時、地の利、人の和」

先人はこれが揃えば目的はかなう、と教えてきました。

私は、この構想実現を強く願うことを重ねてまいりたいと思います。

拙書『Ｓの計画』出版から10年の歳月が準備期間でした。

自分の持てる記憶を次代に伝達できることが幸いと思います。

まずは「樵隠会」発足のごあいさつです。

 「Shoin kai」

 I’m Shinnosuke OTA.

Today, all of the 9 members have gathered together and set up “Shoin kai”.

Our goal is to raise an edifice of 茶の湯 (Cha no yu, a kind of the tea ceremony),

which become a national heirloom in future,

near good quality water source beneath Mt. Fuji.

That structure is used as a stage of 茶の湯 (Cha no yu),

of course, which has made of trees for real.

We will pass on brilliant Japanese traditions to future generations.

All members are experts in various fields and they play a central role in this project.

Such as site selection, food operation, landscape, ritual, flack, the next generation of architect, and organizer.

My role is the representative of Shoin kai.

A potential location is the eastern part of Shizuoka Prefecture.

From now on, we will value having the understanding and cooperation of people in that area and proceed with our plan step by step.

Moreover, we will post any news on this website to obtain broad support from you all.

“The perfect time, great location, and harmony among people”

The forerunners tell us that we can meet a goal if these conditions are right.

I will keep the realization of this concept in my mind.

Thinking back now, I have spent 10 years to prepare since I had issued my book “S’s plan”.

I’m happy that I can hand down my resource for posterity. 

Additionally, it’s my great pleasure o inform you that “Shoin kai” has made a start successfully.
