和を唱え和を称えるはこの地より
いずる太古のヒトの情かな

日本人とは何か。この問いが私の中に、ある運動体を描かせました。３年前から私はそれを「和の心にて候」と呼び始めました。
その運動体は捉えどころがなく、ただ、虚ろな空間の中で揺らいでいるエネルギーと情報でした。　
若しかするとその運動体こそが、日本人の一人ひとりに具わっているもので、日本人の特質を現わす最たるものかも知れない。
今では、そう思うようになりました。

From ancient human nature
What is Japanese humanity? This question has been tracing one moving element within me and I’ve began to call it和の心にて候 “Wa no cocoro nite sourou” for three years.
This is elusive one, and just waving energy and information in vacant space.
Perhaps, that is the inherent essence in each and every one of Japanese and the best reason for Japanese humanity.
Now, I think so.
